Choosing a single photo to sum up 2+ indescribable years of traveling was actually pretty easy. It was taken during my road trip down the west coast of my favorite country, Australia, with the backdrop being a gravel pit in the middle of the outback. Here I was happy, I was free, and I was truly alive. It will be a forever reminder to go after what I love and not take life too seriously along the way.
Narrowing down the top 10 things traveling has taught me, on the other hand, was pretty stinkin hard. But here’s what I came up with:
– People are more alike than they are different. People are also more good than bad.
– Everyone’s path is different
– Stay positive
– Remember your roots
– We need to take better care of our planet
– History repeats itself
– God is good
– Live in the moment
– be o p e n – m i n d e d
– And a whole long list of things I’ve learned about myself but no one really cares about those, so instead I’ll end on… ALWAYS PACK EXTRA SNACKS.
Until the next adventure,
